 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country.                   Nigeria's Consul General in South Africa,Ambassador Uche Ajulu-Okeke told the News Agency of Nigeria {NAN} through a telephone conversation on friday that the visit was part of the Federal Government's intervention programme on agriculture.She said that the North-West Province of South Africa had already accepted to train the officials and share experience on how to boost food production.She said ''The session will determine the modalities for the implementation of the engagement.We are very happy with this engagement because the province is willing to work with Nigeria.They will partner with the state to ensure the success of the Federal Government's agriculture intervention fund.The partnership will benefit Nigeria because it will assist us boost food production,create jobs and boost our economy''.Ajulu-Okeke further said that she had visited a special school in the province that provides training for tourists and chefs as well as those interested in hotel management.
