The Government categorically refutes claims of lopsidedness and emphasizes its unwavering commitment to the principles of fairness, equity, and national unity. All appointments are made in strict adherence to federal character principle, as enshrined in Section 14 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, 1999 (as Altered). EFCC COLLABORATES WITH NIGERIA AIR FORCE ON CORRUPTION FIGHT TODAY.{PHOTOS}.

               The acting chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,Ibrahim Magu,today monday,November 28,2016 visited the Chief of Air Staff,Air Vice Marshall Abubakar Sadique Baba to drum the Message of anti-corruption fight should not be left for the EFCC alone as it is a crime against humanity and a threat to national security. ''Let us all tackle corruption or at least reduce it to its barest minimum'' he said.He appealed to the CAS to use his good office to mobilise women in uniform against corruption.The Women Against Corruption campaign will be flagged off on December 7,2016,at the International Conference Centre,Abuja at 9 am prompt.Below are pictures taken at the event.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
