FG FILES TREASON  CHARGE AGAINST ALLEGED COUP PLOTTERS The Federal  Government has filed a 13-count charge before the Federal High Court, Abuja against a retired Major General, a retired Naval Captain, a serving police inspector, and three others over an alleged coup plot and acts of terrorism. The alleged coup plotters, are scheduled to be arraigned on  April 22, before Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the Federal High Court, Abuja. Those named in the charge are Major General Mohammed Ibrahim Gana, Captain Erasmus Ochegobia Victor,   Inspector Ahmed Ibrahim, Zekeri Umoru, Bukar Kashim Goni, and Abdulkadir Sani. Also listed as a defendant, but said to be at large, is former Bayelsa State Governor, Timipre Sylva.                Yesterday wednesday the 2nd of November,2016 is the World Day For Safety of Journalist and a Symposium was organised by Dr Amaechi Chinyere yesterday LCCI Alausa Ikeja Lagos,in which the event was attended by Journalist all around Lagos Nigeria and some entertainers like myself {Pink Republic},Korede Bello,etc.Alot of issues were raised about the safety of Journalist and some photo journalist from various media house used the opportunity to table their challenges since the Lagos Police PRO Dolapo Badmos was present.I also made my own contributions and i was personally thanked by Korede Bello for not publishing a story that would have tainted his reputation.A message from the Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki Moon was read out to everyone by his representative.More photos below.
