The Edo State House of Assembly has removed Hon. Natasha Osawaru Irobosa of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) from her position as Minority Leader, marking a significant shift in the chamber’s leadership structure. The announcement, made on Monday, is part of a broader restructuring triggered by recent political defections. Hon. Charity Aiguobarueghian, also of the PDP, was similarly stripped of her role as Majority Leader. Meanwhile, Hon. Yekini Idaiye, another PDP lawmaker, lost his position as Chief Whip. Despite the shake-up, PDP lawmakers Hon. Blessing Agbebaku and Hon. Maria Edeko have held onto their roles as Speaker and Deputy Speaker, respectively—for now. NIGERIA TROOPS NEUTRALIZE ANOTHER FEMALE SUICIDE BOMBER AT YAMTAKE BORNO STATE.{PHOTOS}.

             Yesterday at about 9.45pm a suspects female suicide bomber attempted to enter the military location in Yamtake,Gwoza Local Government Area,Borno State but a vigilant sentry on duty gunned her down and she died instantly.The failed suicide bombing attack was followed up with futile probing attack by terrorists which was decisively dealt with by the troops.The troops killed all the 4 attackers including 2 suicide bombers and recovered 2 AK-47,3 Magazines,109 rounds of 7.62mm {Special},1 Torchlight,1 Water bottle,3 Magazine carrier,1 illuminator pyrotecnic and some quantity of drugs.Unfortunately,we lost a soldier in the process.More photos below.
