STATEHOUSE PRESS STATEMENT PRESIDENT TINUBU'S MESSAGE OF CONDOLENCE TO CHIMAMANDA ADICHIE AND HER FAMILY With a deep sense of grief, I condole with Ms Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, her husband, Dr Ivara Esege, and the entire family on the passing of their son, Nkanu Nnamdi. As a parent myself who has suffered the loss of a loved one, no grief is as devastating as losing a child. I empathise with the family at this difficult time, and I mourn this sad loss with them. Ms Adichie is a literary icon who has brought joy and light to many homes globally, and I pray she and her family find strength in the Almighty in this trying hour. My prayers are with the family. Yes stripe gowns can make you look taller or shorter whether parallel or horizontal but long gowns can make you look taller if only you are tall already.So for people that are not so tall,go for horizontal gowns that are a little bit above your kneel.Maybe a shirt gown with horizontal stripes will make a short person look taller and don't forget to wear heels to elongate your legs.Horizontal or parallel stripes comes in different colours so learn to pick colours that fits your skin tone.Yesterday sunday was the feast of Christ the king and there will be a long procession which will require me to change into flats because we are going to walk for a very long time under the sun.The worst thing that can happen to anybody is to be walking under the sun with short skirt or gown,so i wore the long gown to protect my legs from the sun.Red and white is a very unique combination but to make the outfit look put together,i wore a white shoe and white purse.After church before the procession i changed to flats.More photos below.
