 Nigerian makes US Most Wanted List over $1m fraud A Nigerian, Onoriode Ezewu, has been named on the United States Department of Labour’s first-ever Most Wanted List over allegations of money laundering involving fraudulent unemployment benefit claims worth more than $1m. The department’s Office of Inspector General unveiled the list on its website on Wednesday, naming 16 fugitives wanted in cases involving alleged fraud, identity theft, money laundering, labour trafficking and other offences. According to the agency, the cases collectively involve more than $55m allegedly stolen from American taxpayers.                 Twenty Finalists emerged in the EFCC's partnership with Creative Youths Initiative against Corruption {CYIAC} Talent hunt Competition.The event which is aimed at sensitizing children and youth between ages 9-14 years on the ills of corruption through creative development is happening now at the freedom park,Broad street,Lagos.The Executive Chairman,EFCC,IbrahimMagu,represented by Director,Public Affairs Department,EFCC,Osita Nwajah in his speech appreciated the German Embassy,the Press and Nigeria's Nobel Laureate,Professor Wole Soyinka for their contributions towards the success of the Initiative.The stage is set for the Finalists to compete for various prices and awards that is due for potential Champions who are able to prove themselves worthy of recognition after a series of competitive screening exercises involving Primary and Secondary School Pupils and Students from various Schools in Lagos,Nigeria.The Project will be rounded up at the Nigeria Stock Exchange,Lagos on December 1,2016 during which the Nationwide Campaign against corruption is expected to be launched.More photos below.
