 LASG ISSUES TRAFFIC ADVISORY AHEAD OF FANTI CARNIVAL The Lagos State Government has announced traffic diversions and restrictions ahead of the Lagos Fanti Carnival scheduled to hold on Monday, 6th April, 2026, around Tafawa Balewa Square (TBS), Lagos Island. In a bid to ensure a seamless and hitch-free carnival procession, vehicular movement will be restricted along major adjoining roads linking TBS. Affected Routes are; King George V Road (by Mobil Filling Station), Flag House inbound TBS, Force Road inbound TBS, Onikan Roundabout inbound TBS, and WaterBoy Roundabout by Old Defence House. Additionally, all link roads to Moloney Road, such as Military Road (by Old Defence Building), Ajasa Street, Boyle Street, and Hawley Street, will be closed to traffic during the event. To ease parking challenges, designated car parks have been arranged for public use, these include; the Yoruba Lawn Tennis Club Car Park, Zone 2 Car Park (opposite Island Club along King George V Road), Museum Kit...

TALENT HUNT COMPETITION BY EFCC's CREATIVE YOUTHS INITIATIVE AGAINST CORRUPTION {CYIAC}.{PHOTOS}.

                Twenty Finalists emerged in the EFCC's partnership with Creative Youths Initiative against Corruption {CYIAC} Talent hunt Competition.The event which is aimed at sensitizing children and youth between ages 9-14 years on the ills of corruption through creative development is happening now at the freedom park,Broad street,Lagos.The Executive Chairman,EFCC,IbrahimMagu,represented by Director,Public Affairs Department,EFCC,Osita Nwajah in his speech appreciated the German Embassy,the Press and Nigeria's Nobel Laureate,Professor Wole Soyinka for their contributions towards the success of the Initiative.The stage is set for the Finalists to compete for various prices and awards that is due for potential Champions who are able to prove themselves worthy of recognition after a series of competitive screening exercises involving Primary and Secondary School Pupils and Students from various Schools in Lagos,Nigeria.The Project will be rounded up at the Nigeria Stock Exchange,Lagos on December 1,2016 during which the Nationwide Campaign against corruption is expected to be launched.More photos below.
