 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. 30 NIGERIANS LOST THEIR LIVES IN A BOMB BLAST TODAY IN ADAMAWA STATE.

Image result for pictures of bomb blast in adamawa state                  According to sources,the death toll in the twin blasts which rocked a market in Madagali area of Adamawa state has reached 30.The explosions occurred at a market today in Madagali town in northern part of Adamawa State,the military has confirmed.Residents told Daily Trust that two suspected female suicide of Madagali market Friday morning and killed dozens of people.The spokesperson of 28 Task Force Battalion in Mubi,Major Badare Akintoye said 30 civilians died in the attack while those injured were receiving medical attention in hospitals in Mubi and nearby Gulak.The Chairman of Madagali Local Government,Yusuf Muhammad called on federal government to deploy soldiers to the surrounding areas where he said Boko Haram insurgents set up camps.He described the attack as set back,to relative peace enjoyed by residents who resumed normal commercial and social activities following successful military operations.
