 The Lagos State Wastewater Management Office (LSWMO), yesterday, sealed off some buildings/properties across the state over different environmental infractions. They are; * A property on 34, Adeniji Adele, Lagos Island for deliberate discharge of raw sewage into the public drain causing offensive odour and sewage flowing in the community, constituting public nuisance, environmental pollution and endangering human life. * A block of Shops along Powerline Road, Meiran, Alimosho, for the illegal construction and operation of unsanitary toilet facility on a road setback without a permit, constituting public nuisance, environmental pollution and endangering human life. * A three-storey building at 38, Adeniji Adele Street, Lagos Island for deliberate discharge of raw sewage into the public drain. * A building at H29, House of Jesus Street, Langbasa, Ibeju-Lekki, Lagos, for the deliberate discharge of raw sewage into the public drains. NIGERIAN ARMY TO USE SAMBISA FOREST AS TRAINING GROUND FROM 2017.-TUKUR

Image result for tukur buratai                       According to sources,the Sambisa forest,beginning from next year,will serve as traning ground for personnel of the Nigerian Army,Lt-Gen Tukur Buratai,the Chief of Army Staff,has announced in Damasak.Buratai was in Damasak to celebrate the Christmas with troops of the One hundred and Forty Five Battalion after the road leading to the twon was reopened by Governor Kashim Shettima,three years after closure.The army chief said that troops were already conducting a mop up operation in the forest after the last strong hold of the Boko Haram terrorists was captured.''We are also opening up roads to the forest-Sambisa,as well as Alagarno forest.This Sambisa forest is going to be one of our training grounds.Next year,I have already directed that we should conduct our Nigerian Army small arms championship in that forest.And we are going to use it also to test fire fighting vehicles,as well as other key equipment and weapons that requires testing firing whenever we want to induct new weapon and equipment into the Nigerian army inventory.It will afford us very good ground for basics tactics and indeed advance tactics,including but not limited to tactics at the Platoon,company,battalion,Brigade andd even division levels.We are going to make it more robust to make sure that these criminals do not come back to that forest again.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
