 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. Question: How long are you planning to stay in the east this season?
Reply: For now an in Onitsha and I arrived here yesterday and I intend to stay here for 8 days.
Question: So what other activities are you doing tomorrow Christmas day?
Reply: Tomorrow after service i will cook,before going to GRA Onitsha to see my childhood friend and her family.
Question: How is the recession affecting your Christmas?
Reply: Recession did not affect my Christmas that much because i cut my clothe according to my size in terms of what I bought,And I was able to travel of which I do yearly.
Question: Do you have anybody or group of people you want to wish a Merry Christmas?
Reply: Yes I would like to wish my immediate family,friends and well wishers,facebook friends,and everyone that contributed and impact in my life positively a happy Christmas and new year in advance.
