Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. The Ogun State Commissioner for Works and Infrastructure,Arch Olamilekan Adebite has presented keys of Twenty four units of two bedroom flats to families whose houses paved way for the construction of modern shopping malls at Omida,Abeokuta South West Local Council Development Area {LCDA} of the State.Speaking during the presentation of the keys,the Commissioner represented by the Director of Highways {Major Contact} Engr Lateef Oladimeji Yussuf,said the presentation was done in fulfilment of the promise made by the Governor that the families whose houses were pulled down for the construction would be allocated new ones.''History is being made here today.When Government was about to construct these modern shopping malls,Governor Amosun promised that the families whose houses would be giving way would be allocated new ones.Here we are,the Governor has made good his promise by what is happening here today'',he said.Arch. Adegbite enjoined the beneficiaries to make good use of the flats,adding that the gesture was a testimony to the fact that people's welfare remained the topmost priority of government.Responding on behalf of other beneficiaries ,Mr Kayode Adesina,thanked the Governor for fulfilling his promise,adding that critic of the Government should have a rethink considering the outstanding achievements of the present administration.He promised that the beneficiaries would make the best use of the flats allocated to them.
