 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. FEDERAL GOVT,COMPLETES REPAIR WORKS ON KADUNA-ABUJA EXPRESSWAY AHEAD OF CLOSURE OF NNAMDI AZIKIWE AIRPORT ABUJA.

Image result for nigerian coat of arms                The Minister of Power,Works & Housing,Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN,today commissioned the completed emergency repair workss on the Kaduna-Abuja dual carriageway.The Abuja-Kaduna and Kaduna-Abuja bound carriageways are 165km each bringing it to a total of 330km.
The Minister had explained that the intended closure of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on the 8th of March 2017 for repair works on the runway,and redirection of all flights to the Kaduna International Airport for a period of 6 weeks had informed the emergency works to address the failed sections,potholes and multiple cracks on the dual carriageway.
