 STATE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE  PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS MINISTER OF STATE FOR PETROLEUM RESOURCES (GAS) AS CO-CHAIRMAN OF NCDMB GOVERNING COUNCIL In line with his avowed commitment to establish a more efficient, targeted, and consistent approval process for unique oil and gas projects in the country, President Bola Tinubu has approved the appointment of Mr. Ekperikpe Ekpo, Minister of State for Petroleum Resources (Gas), as the Co-Chairman of the Governing Council of the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB). This is also to further ensure effective oversight of the gas aspect of the nation's assets. The President remains committed to unlocking Nigeria's immense gas potential to stimulate industrial development, job creation, and sustainable economic growth. FEDERAL GOVT,COMPLETES REPAIR WORKS ON KADUNA-ABUJA EXPRESSWAY AHEAD OF CLOSURE OF NNAMDI AZIKIWE AIRPORT ABUJA.

Image result for nigerian coat of arms                The Minister of Power,Works & Housing,Mr Babatunde Raji Fashola SAN,today commissioned the completed emergency repair workss on the Kaduna-Abuja dual carriageway.The Abuja-Kaduna and Kaduna-Abuja bound carriageways are 165km each bringing it to a total of 330km.
The Minister had explained that the intended closure of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport on the 8th of March 2017 for repair works on the runway,and redirection of all flights to the Kaduna International Airport for a period of 6 weeks had informed the emergency works to address the failed sections,potholes and multiple cracks on the dual carriageway.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha.  Punish my abusers within 48 hours or face lawsuit - Student bullied by her classmates threaten school authorities The bullied student of British Lead International School, Miss. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
