 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken. ICPC SEIZED 62 HOUSES FROM A FEMALE CIVIL SERVANT.#NAWAHOOO.

Image may contain: 1 person               According to some pressmen,the Chairman Independent Corrupt Practices and other Related Offenses Commission {ICPC},Mr Ekpo Nta,has disclosed that the commission in course of their operations has seized 62 houses from one female public officer.Nta said this while answering question during interaction at the Akwa Ibom Anti-Corruption Summit in Uyo today Tuesday.He said the commission had interim power to seize property of any public officerwhose property was above the accruable income and could not be explained.According to him,the property will be forfeited to the Federal Government after all litigations have been concluded.The ICPC boss warned public office holders not to live above their income s the commission had the mandate of interim seizyre of any public officer property that live above his or her income.''There are many facets of corruption in Nigeria the commission will stop at nothing to bring anyone found to have contravened the anti-corruption crusade to book'', Nta said.
He added that the commission had successfully retrieved 40 vehicles that were stolen by retired directors of the Federal Ministry of Water Resources and warned against trivialising the anti-graft war of the current administration.
