 CP ORUTUGU COMMENDS NNEWI COMMUNITY FOR ASSISTING THE POLICE IN THE ARREST OF ALLEGED SERIAL RAPIST AND MURDERER OF A 15-YEAR-OLD BOY IN UNUBI, NNEWI SOUTH LGA _Shows the Command's willingness to continue to leverage on community support to apprehend suspects and identify unrepentant criminals in the State_ The Commissioner of Police Anambra State *CP Ikioye Orutugu _fwc MNIPS PhD_* today 18th April 2025 commended the Nnewi community for their collaboration with the Police in apprehending an alleged serial rapist Chidiebere Mbene ‘m’ aged 33 years. The suspect is allegedly involved in the murder of one Nwokedi Michael Somtochukwu a 15-year-old boy in Unubi, Nnewi South Local Government Area on 15th April 2025. The suspect also allegedly raped the elder sister of the deceased before he fled the scene. ONDO STATE GOVERNOR DISSOLVED THE STATE'S COUNCIL OF OBAS TODAY+APPOINTS A NEW CHAIRMAN.

Image result for mimiko             According to the sources,Ondo State Governor,Dr Olusegun Mimiko today tuesday dissolved the state's Council of Obas led by the Osemawe of Ondo,Oba Victor Kiladejo.He consequently appointed the Olukare of Ikare,Oba Akadiri Momoh as the new chairman.A statement by the Commissioner for Information,Mr Kayode Akinmade said: ''Governor Mimiko CON,has formally dissolved the State Council of Obas and appointed Olukare of Ikare-Akoko Oba Akadiri Momoh as the new Chairman.The appointment takes effect from monday,February 20.
