 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. Image may contain: 3 people            The Royal British Army has expressed readiness to assist the Nigerian military in training support and capacity building in the effort to bring an end to insurgency in the North East.
The Defence Adviser to the United Kingdom in Nigeria,Brigadier General Charles Calder who assumed duty recently made this known when he paid a courtesy call on the Acting General Officer Commanding {GOC} 7 Division Nigeria Army,Brigadier General Victor Ezugwu.
General Charles said that the UK Government will significantly expand its training assistance to all Nigerian Army training institutions.The Acting GOC commended the UK Government for previous supports and training given by the British Military Assistance Training Team {BMATT} geared towards capacity building and development of personnel of the Division.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
