 71-year-old landlord arrested for impregnating tenant’s teenage daughter The Ogun State Police Command said it had arrested a septuagenarian landlord, identified simply as Adesina, for allegedly defiling and impregnating his tenant’s 14-year-old girl (name withheld) at Akegbeyale Street in Ifesowapo Akute, Ifo Local Government Area of the state. PUNCH Metro learnt that the residents and other tenants were thrown into a state of shock when the septuagenarian suspect was found on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, having sexual intercourse with the 14-year-old girl at about 10:15 pm in the house bathroom. The minor, according to a police source who was part of the team that arrested the 71-year-old suspect but was not permitted to speak for the command, was said to have made her way to the apartment’s bathroom to take a shower. TUFACE DONATES N3.5 MILLION TO THE UNITED NATIONS HIGH COMMISSION FOR REFUGEES.

Image result for tuface            The United Nations High Commission for Refugees {UNHCR},received N3.5 million from Nigerian music Icon Tuface popularly known as Tubaba.The commission disclosed this in a statement issued by Mr Hanson Tamfu,External Relations Officer,UNHCR,Nigeria,on Monday in Abuja.He said the donation from the 2face Foundation was to support the commission in providing life-saving support to families forcibly displaced in Nigeria and across the continent,Tamfu said that Tuface expressed joy and commitment to helping the victims of insurgency who have been forced to flee their homes as a result of the unrest in the North-East.He said the musician also pledged his continuous support to UNHCR in its humanitarian assistance to the Internally Displaced Persons {IDPs} and other persons.The officer quoted Tuface as saying ''I am proud to support the UN Refugee Agency because of its proven track record of being at the fore front of displacement emergencies.''I want to help people who have been forced to flee their homes because of different issues.I care about them and this donation is one of such efforts because we plan to have a major charity concert in Jun to raise money whilst offering my music and talents to the world for donations towards this noble cause.I am confident in UNHCR because it knows how to make a difference in the lives of millions of women,children and men who have lost everything but hope,'' Tuface said.

Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
