 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. WOMEN AGAINST CORRUPTION SOUTH WEST,HELD YESTERDAY IN LAGOS.{PHOTOS}.

Image may contain: 5 people                    The wife of the Lagos State governor,Bolanle Ambode,has appealed to Nigerian women to shun any act or behaviour that is capable of aiding corruption.
She also tasked women,particcularly in the South West to take a stand against corruption.Speaking yesterday wednesday at the launch of the Women Against Corruption {WAC} in the South-West at the Haven Event Centre,Ikeja,Lagos by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC,she said women were strategically positioned in view of their roles as moulders of characters and behaviours.''The cause and effects of corruption are very clear to everyone.It has been identified as one of the major factors responsible for the current state of the economy.The fight against corruption must be seen as a priority,which everyone must be involved in,if we desire to sustainably address the issue of poverty and also make the economy work for everyone,'' she said.Ambode,who commended the acting Chairman of EFCC,Ibrahim Magu and his team for initiating the project aimed at engaging women in the fight against corruption,added that ''it is a fact that women account for almost half of the Nigerian population.It,therefore,follows that such a huge population must be carried along as critical stakeholders on issues bordering on national development''.She further expressed the hope that the campaign would produce the desired effects in the Nigeria polity.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
