 ANAMBRA POLICE ACTION ON THE CULT CLASH THAT RESULTED IN THE FATAL INJURY OF FOUR PERSONS AT AFOR NAWFIA MARKET The Anambra State Police Command wishes to provide a comprehensive update on the cult-related attack that occurred on the evening of 7th December 2025 at Afor Nawfia Market, along the Onitsha–Awka Old Road. It will be recalled that operatives of the Command attached to the Special Anti-Cult Squad, Enugwu-Ukwu, had, four days earlier, acting on credible intelligence about a planned rival cult confrontation, arrested two dangerous suspects and recovered a firearm from them. The arrested suspects have been assisting the Police with valuable information aimed at preventing further cult-related violence within Awka and its environs. AN EVIL GOAT WAS SENT TO CAUSE ACCIDENT THAT INVOLVED ONE ANAMBRA PRINCE ,CLAIMS LIVES IN AWGBU.{PHOTOS}.

  Image may contain: outdoor                                                        A fatal accident involving a Toyota Hilux SUT and a bus conveying some students of Oko Poly has claimed the lives of 5 persons.According to our sources,the cause of the accident which occurred at the Umuokpala Road in Awgbu,Orumba North yesterday evening was due to over-speeding but an eyewitness account had it that the major cause of the accident was a goat which was said to be crossing the road.According to the eyewitness,the Hilux Truck which was driven by the first son of the Igwe of Mbaukwu who name was given as Emeka Anugwu tried to avoid hitting the said goat which was crossing into the highway and in the process,lost control and ran into the bus which was coming in the opposite direction.The driver of the bus and 5 students in the bus died in the scene of the accident while Prince Emeka Anugwu sustained various degrees of injury on his head.The survivors though injured were rushed to a nearby hospital where they are currently receiving treatment.Meanwhile,a group of sympathizers who gathered at the scene of the accident were said to have pounced on the goat and severed its head but it was noticed that the goat did not bleed at all.
One of the eyewitness who gave his name as Uchenna said,''It's an evill goat.As you can see,they cut the head out but not a single drop of blood came out''.
Sources said their correspondent tried to convince the bystanders at the scene that it is possible that the goat might have been affected in the accident and died thereafter thus the inability for it to bleed as it was already dead before the head was decapitated but all was in vain.''The goat was sent to cause the accident.It is spiritual'',another woman who was at the scene of the accident said.More photos below.
