 KADIRS Warns Residents Against Fake Revenue Collectors, Introduces E-Demand Notice As Sole Payment Authorization The Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service (KADIRS) has cautioned taxpayers and residents of Kaduna State against making revenue payments without first obtaining an official E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice), warning that fraudsters may exploit outdated payment processes to defraud the public. In a public announcement issued on Thursday, KADIRS said the move forms part of its ongoing efforts to automate revenue collection and enhance transparency across the state.  The agency disclosed that manual demand notices previously used for Local Government revenue collection have been phased out and are no longer recognized. According to KADIRS, the E-Demand Notice (Pay Advice) has officially replaced the former Local Government Harmonized Demand Notice and is now the only valid document for on-the-spot taxpayer assessment through the state's Central Billing System. Image may contain: 2 people, people sitting                     The U.S government,through the Agency for International Development {USAID},announces its continuing support to the education sector in Bauchi state with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding {MOU} by the USAID Mission Director Michael T. Harvey and His Excellency the Governor of Bauchi Barrister M.A Abubaker.
     This five year MOU sets out the shared and individual commitments for collaboration in the education sector made by both USAID and the Government of Bauchi and provides a framework for mutual accountability for education activities in Bauchi State.Thee MOU supports the Bauchi state government's goals and targets in its education sector strategic plans,and establishes a preliminary plan for joint monitoring and evaluation of progress.''The United States commends Bauchi State for its extraordinary efforts to provide greater learning opportunities for its children.This MOU will expand the partnership between USAID and Bauchi State to improve primary education in Bauchi,'' said USAID Mission Director Michael Harvey.
