Again, Gov Diri Tasks Traditional Rulers To Maintain Peace, Security At King Awala's Coronation Bayelsa State Governor, Senator Douye Diri, has again urged traditional rulers to remain focused on the maintenance of peace, security and stability in their various domains as part of their contribution towards the development of the state. Governor Diri made the call at the weekend during the coronation ceremony ofHis Royal Majesty King Victor Awala, Ebeni-Ibe the Eighth (VIII) of Atissa Kingdom in the Yenagoa Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, at the Bishop Dimieari Grammar School, Yenagoa, the state capital. This sunday that just past was Palm sunday and since the palm is green,i just believe a touch of green through my necklace that have a kind of leaf design would be perfect to celebrate the Palm Sunday.A lot of people wore green outfit,ties or even shoes,I was happy that people are beginning to understand and enjoy colours during a particular season or festival.I wore a black gown,white shoes and purse,then a green necklace with pearls weave like a leaf.I wore a white hat to blend with my hat and shoes.So my necklace is my fashion statement.You like?,More photos below.
