  A 23-year-old Nigerian woman identified as Osarugbe, has died in Libya. African beauty products   She passed away at about 11:33am on Friday, April 4, 2025 after battling illness.    Anti-human trafficking advocate, Yakubu Oyiza and her team had been raising money to bring her back to Nigeria for better medical treatment as hospitals in Libya rejected her.    According to Oyiza, documents for burial, autopsy, and land to bury her in Libya have been arranged, all costing approximately 350,000.   She alleged that the family abandoned her since she fell sick and had earlier refused to go to Kano and pick her up the day she was supposed to be brought back to Nigeria.    In a Facebook post on Saturday, April 5, Oyiza revealed that some family members of the deceased called them asking for Osas’ properties. EFCC TAKES OVER 5 SUSPECTED OIL THIEVES FROM NNS.{PHOTOS}.

Image may contain: 4 people, people standing and outdoor                  Five suspected oil thieves are currently undergoing investigation at the Port Harcourt Zonal Office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC,for dealing in petroleum products suspected to be Automated Gas Oil {AGO}.The suspects,Jeffery Adaboke,Ayebaene Kalango,Prince Legbosi,Tega Adade,Ifeanyi Silvanus were arrested by officers of NNS PATHFINDER Naval Base Port Harcourt,Rivers State on 1st of April,2017 around Isaka axis onboad Tug Boat PK111 and a metal barge laden with products suspected to be AGO.The suspects were handed over to the Commission for further investigation by E.R Ekuma,Commander,Nigeria Navy.An Operative of the Commission,Gidado Musa,who represented the zonal Head EFCC South/South,received the suspects,Tug boat and the metal barge on behalf of the Commission.The suspects will be charged to court as soon as investigation is completed.More photos below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
