Rapper Kanye West sued by Producer over alleged unpaid 6-figure sum owed for 'Vultures 2' album A music producer has filed a lawsuit against rapper Kanye West, alleging that he worked extensively on the artist's albums Vultures 2 and Bully but was never paid or properly credited for his contributions. According to the lawsuit, the producer, identified anonymously as John Doe, was brought onto the Vultures 2 project on August 1, 2024, just two days before the album's release. The producer claims West personally directed recording sessions during which he created more than 400 AI-generated vocal takes and at least 13 custom AI voice models. According to the lawsuit, Doe was responsible for reconstructing vocals, converting performances into AI-generated versions of other artists' voices and using his own recordings as source material for some of the final masters. The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,EFCC,may soon arraign one Ogunrinde Olushola Kayode and his co-travellers before a court of competent jurisdiction for allegedly defrauding one Ikechukwu Onita of over N70 million naira.The suspect and his co-travellers allegedly approached Onita under the guise of being men of God,soothsayers and narrated to him his life challenges and predicaments which coincidentally corresponds to the situation and circumstances of his life at that time.Worried about the revelations about him,the suspects convinced Onita that he could help him find solution to his problem.This led to the Onita travelling with them to Agbowa village in Ogun State where he was introduced to one Baba who further made startling revelations about him.Onits was allegedly hypnotised by the suspect which led to him paying money into the bank accounts of Ogunrinde Olushola Kayode and one Ojo Dada Lawrence at different occasion amounting to N70 million.The suspects will be arraigned in court as soon as investigation is completed.
