 Family and neighbors mourn woman shot by ICE agent after making Minneapolis her home  Before she was fatally shot by a U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officer, 37-year-old Renee Good had just dropped her youngest child off at an elementary school in Minneapolis, the city she and her family had recently begun to call home. As Trump administration officials continued Thursday to describe Good as a domestic terrorist who tried to ram federal agents with her Honda Pilot, those who knew her remembered someone very different: a gentle, kind, and openhearted mother, wife, and neighbor. Good, her wife and her 6-year-old son had recently moved from Kansas City, Missouri, to a quiet Minneapolis neighborhood lined with older homes and small apartment buildings. Image may contain: 1 person, close-up                  The Senator representing Osun West,Isiaka Adeleke,is dead.Mr Adeleke,aged 62,died today sunday morning at a hospital in Osogbo,the Osun State capital,hours after he engaged in a political meeting which terminated late Saturday.Until his death,Mr Adeleke Chaired the Senate committee on capital market.He was in the Senate for the second time,having first represented Osun West between 2007 and 2011 on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.He could not return to the Senate in 2011,after he was defeated by Mudashiru Hussein of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria.But in 2014,after a failed governorship bid,he defected to the All Progressives Congress which sponsored him to contest the 2015 Osun West senatorial election which he won to earn a second time in the Senate.Mr Adeleke became the first elected Governor of Odun State in 1991 on the platform of the Social Democratic Party.He sponsored a bill to protect whostleblowers and security informants.May his soul rest in peace.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
