 Fairfield, Illinois- A former Fairfield Community High School volunteer tennis coach has been arrested for Aggravated S*xual Assault with a student. 38-year-old Joshua Rockett was arrested on April 14th by the Fairfield Police. According to reports, Rockett is being charged in connection to allegations of S*xual Assault to a student under his care and trust.  The minor, who is a student at Fairfield High School, is over 13 years of age but under 17. Rockett is being charged with Aggravated Criminal S*xual Abuse (class 1 felony) to a child under 18 while under his trust, Aggravated Criminal Sexual Abuse of a person under 18 with the assaulter being over 5 years older than the victim (class 2 felony) and Criminal S*xual Abuse/Unable to Consent (class 4 felony).  Joshua Rockett is currently being held in White County Jail with no bond for the three felonies. OSINBAJO GIVES LAGOS THE GO AHEAD TO RECONSTRUCT LAGOS INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT ROAD.

Image result for pictures of osinbajo and ambode                    The Acting President,Professor Yemi Osinbajo has granted permission to the Lagos State Government to embark upon a total reconstruction of the International Airport Road from Oshodi.In a Press Statement signed on wednesday by the Secretary to the State Government,Mr Tunji Bello,the State Governor,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode who made the disclosure,commended the Acting President for his statesman like approach and for fast tracking the process.''We are very appreciative of the good gesture of His Excellency,the Acting President for acceding to our request which is not only very timely but a very heartwarming one.Posterity will never forget this genuine developmental action'',Governor Ambode said.He also described the approval as a 50th birthday to the people of Lagos State,describing it a further demonstration of the determination of the present administration to ensure the effectiveness of the Executive Order on improving the Ease of Doing Business recently signed by the Acting President.Governor Ambode also gave kudos to President Muhammadu Buhari for providing the enabling environment to attract Foreign Direct Investment into the nation,adding that with the upgrading of the International Airport Road which is the gateway to the nation's commercial nerve center,the country will attract new investments.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up.
