 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. ADIYAN WATERWORKS IN LAGOS,TO BE SHUT DOWN FROM TOMORROW FOR MAINTENANCE.

Image result for adiyan water works               Lagos Water Corporation has announced that there will be a temporary shutdown of Adiyan Waterworks from Monday 12th-Tuesday 13th June 2017,for routine maintenance exercise.A statement issued today by the Managing Director/CEO,Lagos Water Corporation,Engr. Muminu Badmus at his Ijora office,said the exercise became necessary for optimal water production and supply capacity to the service areas of the water plant.According to the statement,''the areas that will be affected by the maintenance works are Ketu,Alapere,Omole Phase I & II,Ogudu,Isheri Oke,Amuwo,Itire,Orile Iganmu,and Sari-Iganmu''.Badmus said the disruption in water supply to the listed areas will only last for a short period of time and assured Lagosians of the Corporation's commitment towards providing sufficient potable water supply in the State.
