 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. ADIYAN WATERWORKS IN LAGOS,TO BE SHUT DOWN FROM TOMORROW FOR MAINTENANCE.

Image result for adiyan water works               Lagos Water Corporation has announced that there will be a temporary shutdown of Adiyan Waterworks from Monday 12th-Tuesday 13th June 2017,for routine maintenance exercise.A statement issued today by the Managing Director/CEO,Lagos Water Corporation,Engr. Muminu Badmus at his Ijora office,said the exercise became necessary for optimal water production and supply capacity to the service areas of the water plant.According to the statement,''the areas that will be affected by the maintenance works are Ketu,Alapere,Omole Phase I & II,Ogudu,Isheri Oke,Amuwo,Itire,Orile Iganmu,and Sari-Iganmu''.Badmus said the disruption in water supply to the listed areas will only last for a short period of time and assured Lagosians of the Corporation's commitment towards providing sufficient potable water supply in the State.
