 IGP DECLARES OPEN 2025 NIGERIA POLICE PUBLIC RELATIONS OFFICERS’ CONFERENCE …Tasks PPROs on strategic communication, combating misinformation The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, Ph.D., NPM, on Monday, December 8, 2025, declared open the 2025 Annual Conference of Police Public Relations Officers (PPROs) of the Nigeria Police Force, held at the Police Resource Centre, Abuja. In his keynote address, the IGP described the annual conference as “a strategic national engagement and a critical platform for strengthening police-public communication, shaping national narratives constructively, and deepening trust between the Police and citizens.” He emphasised that modern-day policing is increasingly defined by public trust, transparency, and the quality of communication between law enforcement agencies and the public, noting that the Public Relations Officers remain central to institutional credibility. Image may contain: 2 people, people smiling, people sitting                   Lagos State Governor,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode today tuesday presided over the swearing in of a new Permanent Secretary,Mrs Fiyinfoluwa Adenike Ogunbanke,with a call on her to bring leadership,hard work and professionalism to bear in her service to the State and Lagosians in general.The Governor,who spoke at a brief but impressive swearing in ceremony,held at the Conference Room,Lagos House in Alausa,said he was satisfied with the progress the State has made so far,noting,however that there was always room for improvement.''As it is said,the only room that is never closed is the room of improvement.I will therefore continue to demand improved performance particularly from the top echelon of the Public Service with regard to the pace at which we currently operate.''You must continue to show leadership and direction for others to follow.In this way,we will sustain our unity of purpose and focus towards delivering the dividends of good governance to all our people,'' he said.Congratulating the new Permanent Secretary on her well-deserved appointment,Governor Ambode expressed optimism that she would bring her widely acknowledged sterling qualities of hard work,dedication and professionalism to bear on the Public Service and by extension,his administration.''It is always a thing of joy to be elevated to a position of honour especially that of a Permanent Secretary in Lagos State.I know this much because I had experienced the joy of this occasion some years back.Once again,I congratulate Mrs Ogunbanke,her family and friends with whom she is sharing tthe joy of this moment,'' the Governor said.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
