 El-Rufai to remain in custody as court adjourns bail application to April 14 Justice Rilwanu Aikawa of a Federal High Court in Kaduna has adjourned the hearing of the bail application filed by former Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, to April 14th. The bail application of the former governor came up before the court today. April 1. The court adjourned the case after listening to arguments from both the defence and prosecution  El-Rufai was arraigned by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on a 10-count charge bordering on alleged conversion of public property and money laundering. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The court ordered that he remain in ICPC custody pending the hearing of his bail application on the fixed date. The former governor arrived at the court premises around 9:00 a.m. in a black Hilux vehicle, accompanied by DSS officials.

APGA made this call in a Town Hall meeting that took place in Idemili North Local Government Area of Anambra state.The party said there is no point for the Ndigbo politicians remaining in the APC since it is controlled by Hausa.The All Progressives Grand Alliance {APGA} has urged Igob politicians to dump All Progressives Congress {APC} for APGA,''which symbolises the late Biafra war lord,Chief Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu''.It was gathered that since Arewa youths have asked Igbo in the north to go to their place of origin,APGA urged Igbo people to make sure that they denounce the ruling party which they the major stakeholder are Northerners.It was learnt that this was made known in a Town Hall meeting that took place in Idemili North local government area of Anambra state.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
