Governor Otti’s CPS Sues Chinonye Mba for ₦500m Over Alleged Defamatory Facebook Post The Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Abia State, Mr. Ukoha Njoku Ukoha, has filed a ₦500 million defamation suit against Mr. Chinonye Mba at the Abia State High Court, Ohafia Judicial Division, sitting in Abiriba. The suit, marked HOH/90/2025, is before Justice K.C.J. Okereke and stems from a Facebook publication allegedly made by the defendant on October 26, 2025, titled “How Governor Alex Otti’s CPS Plotted to Have Me Incarcerated.” According to the claimant, the publication was posted on Mr. Mba’s Facebook page and circulated to his friends, followers, and the general public. Mr. Njoku contends that the content of the post is false, malicious, and defamatory, and capable of injuring his character, reputation, and public standing. He is therefore asking the court to grant an order of perpetual injunction restraining the defendant from further publishing or circulating the alleged defama...
Anambra State Online is claiming that The All Progressives Grand Alliance {APGA} has called on Igbo politicians to dump All Progressive Congress {APC}.
