PRESIDENT TINUBU CONGRATULATES MINISTER OF STATE FOR FOREIGN AFFAIRS AMBASSADOR ENIKANOLAIYE ON HIS BIRTHDAY President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye, on his birthday. A statement by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President, Information and Strategy, indicates that the President describes Ambassador Enikanolaiye as a distinguished diplomat, accomplished administrator and dedicated public servant whose career reflects professionalism, patriotism and a deep commitment to Nigeria. Ambassador Enikanolaiye served in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs from August 1982 to August 2017, rising through the ranks to become Permanent Secretary. He later served as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and International Relations before he was appointed Minister of State for Foreign Affairs. Ogun State Governor,Senator Ibikunle Amosun has urged Muslim faithful to continue to live in peace and unity as they celebrate the Eid-el-Fitri.In his Eid-el-Fitri message,the governor said as Muslims round up the 29-day Ramadan fast,they should not relent in practising the lessons,which Ramadan stands for,including unity and living in peace.''Ramadan in a period we increase our brotherhood and we know that it is only in unity that our prayers can be answered unhindered.We should therefore continue to live in unity at this critical time,when our nation is plagued with legion of challenges,such as kidnapping and unwholesome activities of herdsmen,which has brought untold hardship on many citizens''.he stated.He also urged them to continue to exhibit the virtue of discipline,which is one vital essence of the Ramadan fast.
