LagFerry Boat Catches Fire on Lagos Waterways, Passengers Injured A LagFerry boat, Igbega Eko, caught fire while en route to Victoria Island, injuring four passengers. The incident occurred at around 6:45 AM at Ipakodo Ferry Terminal, Ikorodu. Passengers scrambled for safety as the boat suddenly exploded and caught fire. The National Inland Waterways Authority (NIWA) and Lagos State Waterways Authority (LASWA) responded swiftly. LASWA confirmed that the fire was quickly contained, with four passengers sustaining minor injuries and receiving medical attention. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. LASWA assured the public that safety measures are in place, and ferry operations continue as scheduled. Watch video below.

IFEANYI UBAH RELEASED FROM DSS DETENTION YESTERDAY NIGHT.

Image may contain: 1 person                                        According to sources,oil magnet Ifeanyi Ubah who had been in detention was released yesterday monday night by the DSS after a No Case was established,following a tedious investigation by the DSS in his rift qith the NNPC.The DSS had arrested Ifeanyi Ubah over his alleged connection with a claimed theft of petrol kept in his tank farm in Lagos by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation.The product,it said,was valued at over N11 billionThe agency said Ubah's action amounted to economic sabotage,with ''capacity to negatively impact on national economy'',His supporters had been rejoicing ever since his release.
