 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. AMOSUN TO HOST SOUTHWEST GOVERNORS TOMORROW MONDAY IN ABEOKUTA.{PHOTO}.

Image may contain: 2 people, people smiling, hat                 Ogun State Governor, Senator Ibikunle Amosun will host his colleagues from the Southwest, under the platform of the Development Agenda for Western Nigeria (DAWN) Commission at the MITROS Gateway Annex, Ibara, Abeokuta on Monday.
The meeting will address the challenges confronting the region and set goals towards ensuring it becomes a force to be reckon with in the nation.
Other areas of common interest that the forum will deliberate upon, include security, education, agriculture, infrastructure, rail and road networks.
Expected at the one day meeting are, governors of Ekiti State, Mr. Ayodele Fayose; Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode; Ondo State, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu; Osun State, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Oyo State, Senator Abiola Ajimobi.
Amosun believes the forum will further deepen multilateral and bilateral cooperation among the states.
