 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. Justice Alpha Belgore ''said what is happening today is a testimony of the kindness and good character of the couple's parents'' praying that God will continue to protect the union and give them the wisdom to live in perfect harmony.Advising the couple,the former President of Nigeria,Chief Olusegun Obasanjo revealed that there would always be marriage frictions but he urged them to iron out any differences before the following morning through proper communication.Expressing his joy,the brides father and the Governor of Ogun State,Senator Ibikunle Amosun thanked all for honouring and sharing in his family's happiness urging the couple to imbibe tolerance,trust and the fear of be as the foundation of their marriage.Directing the cutting of the cake,the Acting President of Nigeria.Prof. Yemi Osinbajo prayed for the couple to enjoy great favour,love and affection in their marital life.Speaking with journalists,the grooms mother,Mrs Abike Dabiri Erewa enjoined the couple not to allow third party in the running of their home while she prayed for God's guidance for the couple.More photos below.
