 A priest in Anambra State wedded a couple yesterday, despite disputes with the bride’s father In a video circulating online, the Reverend Father narrated that The father of the bride who is from Nteje had insisted that the wedding should not take place unless his daughter swøre never to associate with his mother whom he has a quarrel with. The conflict arose from past marriage issues between the father and her mother. Before the wedding, the father repeatedly met with the priest, warning that he had already taken the bride's mother to a deity and that the girl must follow him to the shrine to appease that deity before the marriage can go on. For peace to prevail, the priest advised the couple to comply with all the father’s requests so the wedding could proceed, the priest even donated some of the items that the brides father told her to bring to use in appeasing the deity. LAGOS BAGS AWARDS FOR BEST STATE IN 2016 HAJJ PILGRIMAGE,& 6 OTHER AWARDS TODAY.{PHOTOS].

Image may contain: 3 people, people smiling                 Lagos State Government today friday beat 35 other States to bag the prestigious award for the best performing State in the 2016 Hajj Operations in Nigeria.The award was one out of the six the State also won for its excellent performance throughout the duration of the 2016 Hajj exercise i Mecca and Medina.Other awards won by the State include Best State in Coordination of pilgrims airlift,Best State in E-Ttrack Management,Second Best State in pilgrims education and enlightenment programme,Second Best State in Taradudiyyah Exercise,Third Best State in coordination of pilgrims feeding.Commission {NAHCON},Mr. Fauad Adeyemi who presented the awards to the State Governor,Mr Akinwunmi Ambode at the Banquet Hall,Lagos House in Ikeja,said out of the eight categories of awards instituted by the Commission,Lagos won in seven.He thanked Governor Ambode for supporting the pilgrims and providing the necessary logistics that made the holy exercise not only worthwhile,but one that stood the State out from the crowd and made Nigeria proud.''I want to thank the Governor for his support because if a Christian Governor can support his people to the level that they became the best,not only the way we used to know Lagos State,but they became the best throughout the nation and not only the nation,but they have an impact throughout the would.You did only make us proud,personally you have made me proud,'' Adeyemi said.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.  Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive. We have approached Turkey for assistance.” The President, however, stated that the delays were affecting the public’s perception of the administration’s commitment to addressing the security challenges.
