 HERDSMEN KILL DRIVER ON HUMANITARIAN MISSION IN TARABA STATE  10th January, 2026      A commercial driver, Mr. Amishe Omeny, has been killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen while on a humanitarian visit to a displaced community in Takum Local Government Area of Taraba State. The deceased, from Tse Amise after Tseem, was reportedly attacked on Friday within Chanchanji Ward as he travelled to Adokia, a displaced settlement located after Tseem Sabe. He was said to have gone to the area to assist villagers with the transportation of foodstuffs. Sources in the community told Benue Info-pedia, that Omeny volunteered his services as a driver to support residents affected by ongoing insecurity, when he was ambushed and killed by the assailants. The killing has sparked grief and outrage among residents, who described the incident as tragic and senseless. A LADY ARRESTED A MAN WHO GOT HER PREGNANT AND REFUSES TO MARRY HER!.{PHOTOS}.

              One of my reporter Chinenye Genevieve is reporting today that ''A 43-year old man, Cyril Obinzu has been arrested, charged before a Lagos court and remanded in prison for impregnating a lady and failing to live up to his responsibilities for the baby and the mother.The incident happened at 7 Rasak Avenue in Shasha, Lagos where Obinzu resided, citadel daily correspondent reports that Obinzu impregnated Happiness Umukoro but refused to marry her because he reportedly had another woman he had promised to marry. It was gathered that Obinzu was dating Happiness and the undisclosed lady he wanted to marry.However, Happiness played a fast one on him, he got her pregnant and she informed him about the pregnancy.Citadeldaily gathered that Happiness thereafter urged him to go and meet with her family for formal introduction and marriage.He reportedly told her that he had no intention to marry her as he already had another lady waiting forhim. It was then that Happiness threatened him that either marry her or go to prison.Happiness reportedly went to the Police at Area M Idimu Command and reported what transpired between them.Consequently, Obinzu was arrested and charged before Ejigbo Magistrates court for negligence by failing to supply her necessary needs after impregnating her.He pleaded not guilty.The presiding Magistrate, Mrs J.O.E. Adeyemi granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties in like sum.Obinzu was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail conditions. citadeldaily.ng gathered that when it was obvious to Obinzu that Happiness really meant to jail him, he opened negotiation from prison with her and they agreed to marry.Happiness now wants the matter withdrawn from court so that they will get married and live as husband and wife.There has been some reactions over the incident which were described as forced marriage because of the circumstance.Barrister Samuel Okolie said on his facebook page ” ladies are no longer smiling, get her pregnant and you must marry her, getting WISER and SMARTER, using legal options available to get married.”Others believed that since Happiness was good enough for Obinzu to sleep with, she should also be good enough for him to marry''.One more photo below.

 Tinubu announces arrival of 4 US attack helicopters President Bola Tinubu has stated that four attack helicopters will soon arrive in the country from the United States amid rising insecurity. Speaking at a meeting with a delegation of the Christian Association of Nigeria, led by its President, Archbishop Daniel Okoh, at his Lagos residence, on Friday, Dec. 26, Tinubu revealed that the Federal Government had ordered four attack helicopters from the U.S, adding that they will arrive in the country “soon”. He said: “Our orders for four attack helicopters from the United States of America will take some time to arrive.
