 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. ROTARY CLUB OF ABUJA CBD UNVEILS TWO-SIDED BILLBOARD WITH PCRRU CONTACT INFORMATION.{PHOTOS}.

Mbanefo Ositadinma Nnoka on 25th August, 2017 unveiled a billboard displaying the Public Complaint Rapid Response Unit - PCRRU, Nigeria Police Force (PCRRU) contact information with that of the club at the Ahmadu Bello Way / Kur Mohammed intersection, Central Business District Abuja. The District Governor highlighted some of the humanitarian projects being embarked upon across the country by the club and the commendable role the PCRRU is playing regarding police accountability.In her remarks, the Club President, Salomi Garba said the important role the PCRRU is playing in bridging the gap between the police and members of the public informed the decision to erect the billboard. She also promised additional support of her club and collaboration with PCRRU.Head of PCRRU, ACP Abayomi Shogunle extended the appreciation of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Ibrahim K. Idris NPM mni to the Rotary Club of Abuja CBD for erecting the billboard at such a strategic location within the Abuja Central Business District. He also said that with the high human traffic in the area more citizens would get to know about the existence the PCRRU.The event was attended by the Assistant-Inspector General of Police NPF Air-Wing, AIG Ezekiel Zang and other members of the Club.More photos below.
