 NUT Protest : Wike Warns Against Politicising Insecurity The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, has warned against politicising insecurity amid protests by the Nigeria Union of Teachers, FCT wing, over the killing and abduction of school staff and children in Oyo State. Teachers stormed the FCTA Secretariat in Abuja to condemn the killing of Michael Oyedokun and to demand the release of abducted pupils and teachers from Community High School, Ahoro-Esinle in Oriire Local Government Area. The FCT minister addressed the protesters on Tuesday, saying the federal government is on its toes working to secure the rescue of the schoolchildren and their teachers. Wike urged protesters to avoid turning the tragedy into a political issue and to give security efforts time to produce results. Image result for clement onubuogo                                      Justice Abdulaziz Anka of the Federal High Court sitting in Ikoyi,Lagos has ordered the temporary forfeiture of the sums of N664,475,246.6 and $137,680.11 allegedly linked to the Permanent Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment,Clement Onubuogo,to the Federal Government.Onubuogo was alleged to have diverted the money from the Sure-P programme inaugurated by former the Sure-P programme inaugurated by former President Goodluck Jonathan.The court also ordered Onubuogo to forfeit a mansion located at Ikem Quarters,Issala-Azegba,Delta State and a hotel located at 19,Madue Nwafor Street,Off Achala Ibuzo Road,Delta State,which he allegedly acquired with funds diverted from the youth empowerment programme.The order followed an ex-parte application filed by the EFCC through its counsel,Rotimi Oyedepo.One more photo below.
