 STOP BLAMING THE GOVERNOR, SHOW YOUR WORK, GOV. ALIA'S MEDIA AIDE SLAMS ACHADO 8th December, 2025     Terver Atu, Principal Special Assistant to the Governor of Benue State on Youth and Media Mobilization, has fired back at Hon. Asema Achado over recent comments claiming he and his stakeholders made a “mistake” by supporting Governor Fr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia. Atu described Achado as a perennial aspirant in Gwer Local Government who has contested nearly every election without success, calling him an example of political failure. “The mere pronouncement of Governor Alia’s name unites the people, not politics, but grace and divine acceptance,” Atu said. “That same goodwill carried him to Abuja as a House of Representatives member for the first time.” According to Atu, Achado’s remarks insult the collective efforts of the Benue masses who supported Governor Alia to end years of underdevelopment. TROOPS OF 8 TASK FORCE DIVISION NEUTRALIZE 10 TERRORISTS+RECOVER LOGISTICS AND RUSTLED ANIMALS.{PHOTOS}.

Image may contain: one or more people and people sitting                 In continuation of ongoing efforts to deny terrorists freedom of action in it's Area of Responsibility, troops of 8 Task Force Division have neutralized 10 terrorists in Maza village in Marte Local Government Areas of Borno State. The terrorists fell into an ambush laid by troops at about 9pm last night, as they attempted to sneak back into their swampy hideouts in the Lake Chad.

Items recovered from the terrorists include 10 bicycles, 11 carts containing food items and 2 cows. In a related development, troops also recovered 50 cows abandoned by fleeing terrorists, during clearance operations conducted in Danari and Mowo villages in Monguno Local Government Area.
It should be noted that as the noose continue to tighten on Boko Haram terrorists, couple with the wet season, they have resorted to the use of bicycles and charts as means of transportation.
