 Court Jails Fake American, Two others in Kaduna   Justice A.A Isiaka of the Kaduna State High Court, sitting in Kaduna has convicted and sentenced a fake American,  Stephen Thomas to five years imprisonment.  He was jailed after pleading guilty to one-count charge bordering on impersonation by the Kaduna Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.   His charge reads: “That you, Stephen Thomas (a.k.a Rolanda Collins), male, sometimes in February,  2024 at Narayi Kaduna within the jurisdiction of this Honourable Court fraudulently impersonated one Rolando Collins (an American citizen) on Facebook and in such assumed character, cheated one Kate Stewarton (an American citizen) the sum of $100(One Hundred USD) and you thereby committed an offence contrary to Section 308 and punishable under Section 309 of the Kaduna State Penal Code Law 2017.”   He pleaded “guilty” to the charge when it was read to him which prompted the prosecution counsel, M. PDP SUSPENDS IFEANYI UBAH OVER HIS ''DISPARAGING & UNFOUNDED ALLEGATIONS.{PHOTO}.

Image may contain: 1 person, text                         People's Democratic Party has announce the suspension of its member Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah who is also governorship aspirants for coming November 18th governorship election in Anambra state.
In series of Tweet they made it public that Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah has been suspended;
The National Caretaker Committee today announced the suspension of Dr. Ifeanyi Ubah, over his disparaging & unfounded allegations against. some party members and elders. Dr. Ubah while expressing his dissatisfaction with the decisions of the National Caretaker Committee on the report of the Anambra Guber Appeal Panel which affirmed the election of Hon. Oseloka Obaze, made several allegations against the party over which he was queried.
The matter has been referred to the National Disciplinary Committee for further action In the same vein, the Party also queried Senator Buruji Kashamu over his involvement in some issues in Ogun state chapter of the PDP.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Baba Ijesha through his counsel Kayode Olabiran on Tuesday, told the appeal court that his client was set up and that he acted according to a script that he was invited to act on by his colleague. “The Appellant was set up. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
