 NDC STATEMENT ON COURT RULING Our attention has been drawn to a ruling by the Federal High Court sitting in Lokoja this morning, wherein His Lordship, Honourable Justice Isah Dashen, gave a ruling on an application filed by an unregistered association known as Peace Movement Party. The public knows that by December 2025, the Nigeria Democratic Congress  as an association complained of INEC’s refusal to register us as a political party, whereupon we proceeded to the Federal High Court. The Federal High Court upheld our constitutional right to freedom of association under the Constitution and compelled INEC to register us, which INEC did. Since then, we have started political activities, embarked on the registration of members, held congresses from ward to national levels, held conventions, and concluded primaries to all offices following INEC’s timetable. ANAMBRA PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER EMERGES 2017 NIGERIA BEST TEACHER OF THE YEAR.

   Mr Okodo Nwoye, of Central School Abagana, in Njikoka Local Government Area of the state won the award organized by the Federal Ministry of Education, Abuja.
Announcing his selection, the Director, Education Support Services in the Ministry, Mrs J. N Ibeh writing on behalf of the Minister of Education Adamu Adamu said that the award presentation ceremony will hold on Thursday, 5th of October 2017 at Eagle Square, Abuja during the World Teachers' Day celebration.
Nwoye's victory falls in line with the footsteps of the state born Roseline Nkemdilim Obi, a teacher at Federal Government Girls College, Onitsha who won the maiden edition of Maltina Teacher of the Year Award in 2015.
Speaking to ABS, the state Commissioner for Education, Prof. Kate Omenugha said she is proud of Mr Nwoye and all the other hardworking teachers and staff in the State's Education System.Commissioner Omenugha explained that the national recognition of one of their teachers, is a clear manifestation of the efforts of Governor Willie Obiano in the Education Sector aimed at sustaining excellence and high standards in the state.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
