 There was no evidence that he slept with the girl” – Yomi Fabiyi gives update on Baba Ijesha’s case Nollywood actor Yomi Fabiyi has given an update on embattled Yoruba actor Baba Ijesha’s case. Refreshing your memory, Baba Ijesha was arrested and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment for raping a minor, who is the adopted daughter of comedian Princess. Giving an update on the case in a recent interview, he said Baba Ijesha’s appeal process is still ongoing in court. He claimed that there was no evidence that he slept with the hole; hence, the judge didn’t sentence him to life imprisonment. Yomi stated that Princess called Baba Ijesha to shoot a skit, and the girl also made a similar statement in court. DISMISSED SOLDIER,1 OTHER IN EFCC CUSTODY OVER EMPLOYMENT SCAM.{PHOTOS}.

      The EFCC have taken into custody the duo of Kabiru Adamu, and Hashimu Mohammed Zakari for allegedly engaging in employment fraud. 
The first suspect who was a former military personnel, was picked up by the Nigerian Army following series of complains against him from several of his victims whom he offered recruitment into the Nigerian Army. After his arrest, the suspect named one Hashimu Mohammed as his accomplice and same man was subsequently arrested in Kano and both men admitted their crime on the statement sheet. Upon his arrest, Kabiru was discovered to be carrying a Nigerian Army identity card bearing the name of one Idris Salisu who is also a military personnel. However, the suspect was said to have removed the picture of the bearer and affixed his own passport photograph on the I.D card. When the suspect was asked as to how he came in possession of the I.D card, he claimed he found it in wallet he picked up in Lagos among other valuables.One more photo below.

 Actor Baba Ijesha appeals five-year jail sentence for sexual assault Nollywood actor Olanrewaju James, known as Baba Ijesha, has filed an appeal against his conviction for the sexual assault of a minor. He has requested the Court of Appeal, Lagos Division, to overturn the ruling of the Lagos State High Court, which sentenced him to five years in prison. The conviction was handed down by Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo (retd.) of the Ikeja Domestic Violence and Sexual Offences Court on July 14, 2022 to Baba Ijesha. Namtira Bwala has threatened to file a lawsuit against the school authorities if her abusers are not punished within 48 hours. In a letter drafted by her lawyers, Deji Adeyanju and Co, Namtira asked the school authorities to immediately investigate and pronounce the stiffest punishments in the student’s rule book on Ms.Maryam Hassan, Miss Faliya, and nine other students who bullied her.
