 NLC backs new SSG Chiamaka Nnake, Seeks Workers Welfare  By Ukpa Ewa  The Organized Labour in Anambra State has pledged support to the newly appointed Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Mrs. Chiamaka Nnake, while urging her to place the interest of Anambra and workers’ welfare at the forefront of her administration. The labour delegation, led by Comrade Humphrey Emeka Nwafor of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and Comrade Chris Ogbonna of the Trade Union Congress (TUC), paid a courtesy visit to the new SSG at the Light House in Awka. Speaking during the visit, Comrade Nwafor said the office of the SSG plays a key role in government labour relations and called on Mrs. Nnake to ensure Anambra workers are given due attention in government affairs. He also congratulated her on becoming the first female SSG in the state at a young age, describing her appointment as historic. EFCC IS SET TO AUCTION FORFEITED PETROLEUM PRODUCTS,VESSELS.{PHOTOS}.

     As part of arrangement to auction forfeited petroleum products and vessels which are proceeds of crimes seized from illegal oil bunkers the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, on Tuesday, October 10, 2017 held a pre-bid meeting with shortlisted auctioneers at the EFCC Academy, Karu, Abuja.
The Acting Chairman, EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, told the participants that the process is part of the Commission’s transparency policy with the objective of giving every interested company a fair chance to participate in the exercise.Magu, who spoke through the Director of Procurement, EFCC, Olusina Ogundimu said that the purpose of the meeting was to educate the shortlisted bidders for the auction on the stipulated guidelines contained in the request for proposal (RFP) issued to them earlier.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
