 El-Rufai to remain in custody as court adjourns bail application to April 14 Justice Rilwanu Aikawa of a Federal High Court in Kaduna has adjourned the hearing of the bail application filed by former Kaduna State governor, Nasir Ahmad El-Rufai, to April 14th. The bail application of the former governor came up before the court today. April 1. The court adjourned the case after listening to arguments from both the defence and prosecution  El-Rufai was arraigned by the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Commission (ICPC) on a 10-count charge bordering on alleged conversion of public property and money laundering. He pleaded not guilty to all the charges. The court ordered that he remain in ICPC custody pending the hearing of his bail application on the fixed date. The former governor arrived at the court premises around 9:00 a.m. in a black Hilux vehicle, accompanied by DSS officials.

POLICEMAN ABDUCTS AND RAPES 14 YR OLD GIRL FOR DAYS IN ANAMBRA STATE.{PHOTOS}.

       A rogue police officer has been apprehended after being accused of kidnapping and raping a 14-year-old girl in Anambra state.
It was gathered that the mobile police officer(MOPOL) identified as Barau Garba allegedly raped the little girl till her private part ruptured.
14 year old Maryam Yusuf an indigene of Kano state was said to be living with her parents in Asaba, Delta state where she attends an Islamic school in cable area known as "Hausa quarters" in Asaba, Delta state.
Maryam was sent by her father to Onitsha from Asaba on 14th of October 2017 to buy an unspecified item but unluckily for her she lost the money on transit.
In her bid to identify the vehicle she boarded, while standing by the roadside, she was approached by one corporal Barau Garba (A mobile police officer) with service number 275601 from MOPOL 7 Sokoto state who was on a special duty in Anambra, his team were attached to the OKPOKO police divisional headquarters, Onitsha.
The rouge police corporal approached the teenage girl and engaged her in a discussion where she narrated her ordeal to him.
Corporal Barau Garba deceived her by asking her to join him on his motorcycle so that he could take her back home.
Instead of taking her back as promised, he took her and locked her up in his room and violated her for six whole days leaving her v*gina raptured.
While all these lasted, the victim pleaded with him to take her home but her pleas fell on deaf ears. He ran out of luck on the 5th day, in the middle of the night when Maryam took his mobile phone and called her father to come to her rescue.Maryam was taken to the hospital on 25th October 2017 (Wednesday) by a good samaritan because the police courtesy of the DPO of OKPOKO division were not forthcoming with her case. It was gathered that there are serious attempts to cover up the case, especially as they told the father that the issue has to be swept under the carpet since "they" (both the police corporal Barau Garba and the family of the victim) are all of northern extraction.Attached below are documents of various tests conducted on Maryam and it was ascertained she was raped.More photos below.

 How Suspected Phone Snatchers Killed Army Lieutenant In Kaduna  An army officer identified as Lieutenant IM Abubakar has reportedly been hacked to death by a gang that specialises in phone snatching and other crimes. The deceased was killed in the Unguwan Sarki area of Kaduna metropolis during the week. A popular counter-insurgency expert and security analyst in Lake Chad, Zagazola Makama disclosed this in a Twitter post. Makama described Abubakar as a talented officer.  He said, “Lt IM Abubakar(Isa) A Young Talented Army Officer Was Killed By Phone Snatchers on His Way Home In Unguwan Sarki, Kaduna. May his soul rest in peace.”
