 Nicole Kidman recalls the heartbreaking moment she found out her mom died Nicole Kidman has opened up about the heartbreaking moment she learned of her mother Janelle’s death just as she was about to accept a best actress award at the Venice International Film Festival.  The Babygirl star recalled being backstage when she received the news, saying she returned to her room “completely devastated” and unsure how she would move forward without her mother, who had been such a central part of her life. She described the “harrowing” attempt to leave Venice in the middle of the night to return to Australia, only to turn back, overwhelmed and alone.  Director Halina Reijn later read a statement on Kidman’s behalf, dedicating the award to Janelle and acknowledging the collision of art and life in that painful moment. PRINCE CHARLES & WIFE HAVE STARTED THEIR AUTUMN TOUR YESTERDAY AFTER ARRIVING SINGAPORE.{PHOTO}.

       The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall have started their Autumn Tour yesterday after arriving in Singapore. TRH have begun their tour (which will also take them to Malaysia, Brunei and India), by celebrating the Commonwealth Games.The Prince and Duchess met Singaporean athletes and para-athletes who hope to win medals for their Commonwealth country, and held the Commonwealth Relay Baton.
Her Majesty The Queen launched the Commonwealth Baton Relay outside Buckingham Palace in March 2017. By the time the Relay has finished, the Baton will have traveled 230,000km.The Prince of Wales will open the XXI Commonwealth Games on behalf of Her Majesty The Queen when it is staged on Australia's Gold Coast next year.
