 Nigeria's Defence Minister Summons Service Chiefs Amid Surge in Attacks on Military Bases Nigeria's Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (Rtd), has urgently summoned the nation's top military leaders to a high-level meeting at the Ministry of Defence headquarters in Abuja. The session addresses the escalating attacks targeting military installations, particularly in the North East region.       On friday the 24th of November 2017,Luck ran out of two armed robbers who tried to steal from a 7up depot situated at Okoti, Odoekpe in Ogbaru Anambra state.According to eye witnesses, the robbers came on a kymco motorcycle, shot the salesman and tried to rob them of their sales for the day before some passersby overpowered and lynched them to death.More photos below.
