 Russia launches massive drone and missile barrage on Ukraine, killing at least 18 civilians and striking Kyiv and multiple cities  Russia carried out a large-scale overnight assault on Ukraine, launching hundreds of drones and dozens of missiles that killed at least 18 civilians and wounded more than 100 others across multiple cities, officials said Tuesday. The strikes hit Kyiv, Dnipro and other regions, with emergency crews working through destroyed residential buildings where some victims were trapped under rubble. In Dnipro, rescuers recovered the bodies of a 3-year-old child and a mother and her 8-year-old son, while officials reported 12 deaths in the city and six in Kyiv. The bombardment stretched from night into daylight, with explosions reported across wide areas of the country. HUNTERS INTERCEPTS SUSPECTED BOKO HARAM CATTLE RUSTLERS IN BIU, BORNO STATE YESTERDAY.

      Sequel to recent security challenges posed by Boko Haram terrorists in cattle rustling to raise funds for their criminal activities, hunters from Gur village in Biu Local Government Area (LGA), Borno State in conjunction with hunters from Damaturu at about 2:48pm on Thursday 23rd November 2017, intercepted suspected Boko Haram terrorists cattle rustlers east of Burashika village of Biu LGA.
During the encounter that lasted several hours, the hunters killed 1 Boko Haram terrorist, recovered an AK-47 rifle mounted with magazine of 2 rounds and 48 cows, 58 goats, 36 sheeps and 12 donkeys.
All the recovered livestock have been handed over to the security operatives in Gur village pending identification by the rightful owners and handover.
