 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.       The Lagos State Government has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Senukon Olufunmi Ajose-Harrison as substantive Director-General of the Lagos State Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC) Magodo.
Ajose-Harrison became Acting Director-General in May following the retirement of the immediate past Director-General, Mrs. Regina Olubunmi Fabamwo.
A seasoned human resources management professional and consummate capacity building expert, Senukon Olufunmi Ajose-Harrison is an alumnus of the Universities of Ibadan and Lagos where he obtained both the Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Sociology and a Masters in Industrial and Labour Relations (MILR) respectively.
Ajose-Harrison is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), a Chartered Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management (NIM), a member of the Nigerian Industrial Relations Association (NIRA), and the Nigerian Institute for Training and Development (NITAD).
In 1997, he joined the services of the Lagos State Government as pioneer Head of Planning and Research at the Public Service Staff Development Centre (PSSDC) Magodo rising through the ranks to become Director of Planning and Research until his appointment as Acting Director-General by the State Government in May 2017.He commenced his work career at the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON).
