 OGUN STATE GOVERNMENT TAKES SWIFT ACTION ON SAGAMU INTERCHANGE SECURITY CONCERNS In response to rising security concerns at the Sagamu Interchange, Amotekun operatives and officers of the Nigeria Police Force (NPF) carried out operations under the bridge this morning to address criminal activities in the area. The government acknowledges the disturbing reports of violent attacks on innocent citizens and assures residents that decisive measures are being taken to restore safety. The security agencies have been mobilized to increase surveillance and crack down on criminal elements operating in the vicinity. Citizens are urged to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities to security agencies. The Ogun State Government remains committed to ensuring the safety of all residents and travelers.        The Acting Chairman of the EFCC, Ibrahim Magu, has called on members of the Federal Civil Service of Nigerian Cooperative Societies Union to be prudent and transparent in managing peoplesā€™ resources while stressing the need for a united front in the fight against corruption.Magu who identified corruption as the root cause of poverty and the reason for series of agitations and other vices in our society, made the plea on Tuesday, October 17, 2017 while receiving a delegation of the union who were at the Commissionā€™s Head-Office, Abuja, on a courtesy visit.More photos below.
