 Dutch referee Rob Dieperink dies weeks after removal from World Cup officiating list Dutch referee Rob Dieperink has died at the age of 38, weeks after FIFA removed him from its list of officials for the World Cup. The Dutch Football Association (KNVB) confirmed his death in a statement, saying it was “shocked and deeply saddened” by the news. His cause of death has not been disclosed. Dieperink was arrested in April by the Metropolitan Police in the United Kingdom following a report of an alleged sexual assault involving a teenage boy in London. A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said officers responded on April 9 to a report of sexual assault at an address in Croydon and arrested a man in his 30s on suspicion of the offence. Police later said that after reviewing available evidence, including CCTV footage and digital devices, the investigation had concluded that “the evidential threshold had not been met” and no further action would be taken.       Over ten thousand Ekiti children are to benefit from the State government free wears to celebrate Christmas and New Year.
Governor Ayodele Fayose gave the information during a meeting with members of the Tailors Association from the 16 Local Government Areas at the government House in Ado.
He said that the beneficiaries of the goodies would be from ages 01 to 10 at some designated centers that would soon be flag off.
The Governor explained that over 150 Tailor volunteers would be needed to carry out the task.
According to him, government would procure 100 machines in addition with their own to carry out the assignment. He noted that the machines would be given to them free of charge through ballot after the assignment.
The chairman Tailors Association Ekiti State chapter, Mr Jimoh Aderemi thanked the Governor for remembering them to carry out the task that would add value to their economy.He assured the Governor who that his members would not disappoint.More photos below.
