 Setting the Records Straight on  Citizen Asar Michael Sesugh's  Death The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission,  EFCC,  considered it imperative to clear the air on some recent incidents at its Makurdi Zonal Directorate,  Benue State.   Operatives of the Directorate arrested 26 suspected cyber fraudsters on April 28,  2026.  They were profiled and kept in custody for further investigations after obtaining a Remand Order at a Magistrate Court.  Shortly after their arrest,  specifically on May 4,  2026,  three of the suspects sought permission to use the lavatory at the Directorate's  Holding Facility and were permitted.   They cashed in on the opportunity,  broke the toilet's roof and escaped from detention.  Several efforts were made to re- arrest them to no avail. TRAILER CRUSHED OKADA MAN & FEMALE PASSENGER DEAD IN AWKA.{PHOTOS}.

      It was a black Sunday in Awka as a trailer lorry crushed to death a commercial motorcyclist and his female passenger at the Kenneth Dike Library axis of the Awka - Onitsha Expressway.
The late cyclist with his passenger entered the expressway from the road leading to Teachers House beside the Library wall and was riding against the traffic when an on coming SUV from the opposite direction hit and brought them down and the lorry which was behind the SUV crushed them to death. Policemen who were on election duty were able to stop the trailer driver some metres from the scene of the incident while the SUV driver ran away.Officers of the Road Safety Corps who arrived the scene promptly took away the remains of the victims but refused to talk to journalists.Below are photos of Ukadike Chisom Doris the passenger who died in the incident.May their souls RIP.Amen!.More photos below.
