Our thoughts are with Florida State University. Sadly, a young man opened fire at the school today. Two individuals lives were lost. They were not students. Five other individuals are hospitalized.  The shooter, Phoenix Ikner, is the son of a local deputy and unfortunately used one of her former weapons in the attack. His mother has been with the local sheriff's department for 18 years. She is highly respected and well liked. Her son, the assailant, was also very involved in the Leon County Sheriff's Department helping with their juvenile programs.  I will edit and update with more details. I am in the middle of an unrelated interview right now.  Phoenix Ikner is in custody. Phoenix is a 20 year old student of FSU. He is described as "just a normal guy".  Our thoughts are with absolutely everyone involved.
