 LASG PRESENTS STAFF OF OFFICE TO NEW ONIȘẸ OF ISE KINGDOM The Lagos State Government has presented the Staff of Office and Instrument of Appointment to Prince Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, as His Royal Majesty, Alaiyeluwa Oba Ibrahim Adebowale Saliu, the Onise of Ise Kingdom in Lekki Local Government Area. The presentation was performed on Friday, August 21, 2026, by the Special Adviser to the Governor on Rural Development, Dr. Nurudeen Yekinni Agbaje, alongside the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy Affairs and Rural Development, Mrs. Kikelomo Bolarinwa, with the approval of the Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu and the Lagos State Executive Council, following the demise of the late Oba Ganiu Adebowale Adegbesan, Onise of Ise Kingdom. DUCHESS OF CORNWALL INVITED CHILDREN TO HELP DECORATE THE CHRISTMAS TREE AT THE CLARENCE HOUSE TODAY.{PHOTOS}.

        Every year, The Duchess of Cornwall invites children to help decorate the Christmas tree at Clarence House. Today, the event was attended by families supported by Helen & Douglas House (of which Her Royal Highness is Patron), and Roald Dahl's Marvellous Children's Charity. The children then joined The Duchess for lunch, featuring Christmas tree biscuits and mince pies (of course!)
The Buckingham Palace Christmas Trees have also arrived! Did you know that the displaying the Christmas trees was introduced to Britain in the late eighteenth century by Queen Charlotte, consort of George III? Although the fir Christmas Tree was later popularised by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert in the nineteenth century.More photos below.

Innoson Gives Out Brand New IVM G5 and Salary For Life To The Man Who Prophesied About His Vehicle Manufacturing In 1979.  Last Saturday, July 22nd the Chairman of Innoson Vehicle Manufacturing Company Ltd, Chief Dr Innocent Ifediaso Chukwuma OFR gave out a brand new Innoson IVM G5 to Mr Ikechukwu Osakwe popularly known as Osabros who prophesied to him in 1979 that he would be the first man in Africa to manufacture vehicles and sell to different African countries.  The prophecy was given at the period the then Innocent Chukwuma could not boast of a car, talk less of manufacturing one.
