 PRESIDENT TINUBU APPOINTS MS. ADEDAYO BENJAMIN LANIYI AS DG/CEO OF THE MARYAM BABANGIDA NATIONAL CENTRE FOR WOMEN DEVELOPMENT President Bola Tinubu, has approved the appointment of Ms. Adedayo Benjamin Laniyi as the Director-General /Chief Executive Officer of the Maryam Babangida National Centre for Women Development (MBNCWD) and  members of the Governing Council  for an initial term of four (4) years. In a letter signed by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sen. George Akume the appointment which takes effect from April 18, 2026, is in accordance with the provisions of Section 7 (1) and (3) of the National Centre for Women Development (Amendment) Act, 2023.         According to trending multiple reports, another Nigerian man has been shot dead in South Africa.
The man who has been identified as Ekene Emenike popularly known 'Ogbuefi na Ozubulu' from Ozubulu area of Anambra state - was gunned down on the streets of South Africa last week.The cause of his death is yet to be ascertained as at the time of filing this report.Those who claim to know the deceased businessman have taken to Facebook to share his photos and mourn in the loss.More photos below,
